Advisory

Senior executive support for leadership teams making consequential decisions about strategy, transformation and execution, especially where electrification, new markets or changing cities are reshaping the business.

Introduction

Most organizations don't lack strategy. They lack the bridge between a decision and what actually ships, launches or changes. Atlantiska Byrån works on that bridge, with judgment formed across product development, program leadership and transformation at Volvo, Mack Trucks, Geely, Lynk & Co and Zeekr.

The advice is direct. If a plan won't survive contact with the organization, the market or the supply base, you'll hear it early.

What I help with

Strategy and execution. Turning direction into decisions, priorities and commitments the organization can carry out, and testing whether the plan holds up against capacity, cost and timing.

Transformation. Leading or supporting large-scale change, such as a shift to electric product lines, new business models or a restructured organization, with attention to what has to stop as well as what has to start.

Operating models. Clarifying how decisions are made, who owns what, and how product, engineering, commercial and operations work together, particularly after mergers, partnerships or rapid growth.

Programs and portfolios. Bringing structure to complex vehicle, product and technology programs: gate decisions, portfolio trade-offs, recovery of programs that are slipping.

Organizational leadership. Building leadership teams and capabilities that can run the business through change, including across cultures and time zones.

Interim and executive advisory. Hands-on executive capacity for a defined period, or an experienced sounding board for a CEO or leadership team.

Where it applies

  • Electrification and the EV transition: product, program and organizational decisions in companies moving to electric.

  • International business: market entry, partnerships and operations across Europe, North America and China.

  • Urbanization and transport systems: how changing cities reshape demand for vehicles, services and infrastructure.

  • Frontier Mobility: underserved markets and unmet needs where established products don't fit. Link to /frontier-mobility (heading becomes the link).

Circular economy, service design and sustainability run through this work as practical tools, used where they change cost, risk or revenue.

How engagements work

  1. Conversation. A first discussion of the situation, without obligation.

  2. Scoping. Agreeing the question, the deliverables and the people involved.

  3. Proposal. A written proposal with scope, timing and commercial terms.

  4. Engagement. Delivered as a defined package, as ongoing advisory, or as interim leadership, depending on what the situation needs.

Many engagements are long-term working relationships rather than one-off projects.
